Lorenzo warmed our hearts with inspirational words and tunes delivered in a rich, melodic voice. His poetry and songs brought forth powerful messages that highlighted African American culture. Children and adults listened to his stories and discovered love, humor, and faith. His broad, sincere smile engaged us instantaneously and the connection remains today. 

He is sorely missed.
